Reading Spring Gardens is a brass band that has been entertaining the community in and around Reading since 1904 and is synonymous with the late legendary trumpet player Derek Watkins and his family who were founding members of the band. Today, the band enjoys a renewed success on the concert and competition stage inspired by the celebrated musical directorship of David Ruel.
